147.

Another finish I seemingly just forgot about. Or at least to post.

146.

Nike US Open fun that I worked on. Collaborated with art direction and look of campaign, and then went ahead and did every, single, last bit, of retouching. For days. Weeks.

145.

Animated stuff is tricky to work on. Sketch after sketch. Then waiting on 3d. Its a process. But a fun one.

143.

Its been a while since I've posted work. A fun year it has been. Had the opportunity to collaborate with talented and fun people and I'm going to the beach tomorrow (in February).

142.

Shot in Ireland and built in LA.

141.

Flew to Atlanta and ate really good BBQ for this shoot.

140.

I loved this show. Which made it all the more fun working on.

It's been a long time since I've picked up my camera; an old friend. For years that thing would make any trip bearable - knowing that I could find something exciting in a subway trip, or a guy screaming outside madison square garden. It's one of the best friends I've had my whole life. A true confidant. I was glad to pick that fucker up again - say hello.

This is Davin, another old friend that's been around for decades. One of the best.

132.

One of my biggest campaigns. Banned in LA. Still ran in New York. Photographed by Rankin. Art directed by me. Dominated by Ignition.

131.

Long time, not much posting. I wish I could blame it on the summer months but it seems to be summer here year round. I moved from downtown over to Marina del Rey in the last month to be closer to my agencies shiny new office which we're moving into this coming Monday. Our old offices had most of our divisions separated between different buildings in the same office park but our new place close to the beach in Playa Vista has us all under same roof.

Marina del Rey is pretty awesome, too. New place is practically on the beach. If you're on a bike, you're down there in less than a minute. I've always loved the ocean and being this close to it has been pretty exciting.

Enough life stuff. Here's the work. I art directed this ad for Duck Dynasty's new season that came out a little while ago. Funny guys for sure.

Arrested Development has always been one of my favorite shows of all time. So when I heard that I'd get to art direct the entire campaign for their new season, I almost blue myself (those who watch the show will get that I'm not perverted, nor do I misunderstand basic grammar skills). Over the last 6 months I've been lucky enough to work on a team of ridiculously talented creatives and account managers at Ignition to come up with one of the most influential entertainment marketing campaigns in years. Extensive in scope and relevancy to what the show is about, we created a 360 degree campaign that celebrated the comedy and brilliance that the shows writers and actors have crafted over the years.

The media buy for this was extensive as well, with more than 500 posters in the NYC subway system alone, Times Square video screens, billboards and wildpostings.
